  • Develop and implement plantation strategies to achieve business objectives. Lead and manage the plantation team to ensure optimal performance.
  • Plantation Operations and Management:
  • Oversee land preparation, planting, maintenance, and harvesting.
  • Implement best agricultural practices (GAP) for planting, fertilization, pruning, and pest control.
  • Develop and execute production plans to achieve business goals.
  • Ensure maximum yield and quality of fresh fruit bunches (FFB).
  • Manage the harvesting process and ensure efficient post-harvest handling.
  • Implement sustainable agriculture practices and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Deep understanding of oil palm cultivation, growth requirements, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of common oil palm pests and diseases and their control methods.
  • Understanding of soil health, nutrient requirements, and appropriate fertilizer application.
  • Knowledge of farm machinery and equipment and their maintenance.
  • Understanding of irrigation systems and their operation.
  • Lead and develop farm teams, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Optimize resource utilization, including labor, machinery, and inputs.
  • Maintain accurate records of farm activities and prepare reports for management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues that arise in the plantation.
  • Implement best practices and stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
