We’re seeking a Technical Personal Assistant with a strong foundation in networking, information security, and customer-facing technical support. You’ll be the first line of defence for technical issues, ensuring users experience minimal disruption while helping maintain a secure and reliable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first- and second-level technical support to internal and external users via ticketing systems, email, or live channels.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues across multiple systems and platforms.
  • Monitor and manage network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, switches, and routers) and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with internal security protocols and assist in implementing best practices in information security.
  • Maintain endpoint protection, anti-virus systems, and identity access controls across company assets.
  • Document technical issues and resolutions for the internal knowledge base.
  • Support onboarding/off boarding of users, including provisioning accounts and access rights.
  • Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and Security teams to identify recurring issues and implement long-term fixes.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of hardware/software and tracking license usage and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–4 years of experience in technical support, Helpdesk operations, or IT infrastructure.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls).
  • Working knowledge of information security principles, identity/access management, and threat prevention tools.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, Fresh desk) and remote desktop tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities across Windows/macOS/Linux environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified (a plus).
