Company: MoMo Payment Service Bank. Lead the organisation’s financial control and reporting function, ensuring integrity, accuracy and completeness of financial records, compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, effective internal controls, and timely financial reporting to support decision-making.

Job Responsibility

"Responsibilities: • Lead preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (IFRS, regulatory, company policy) • Oversee month-end and year-end close; accurate recording within agreed timelines • Manage General Ledger and Chart of Accounts • Drive balance sheet governance; review reconciliations and resolve outstanding items • Develop and maintain financial control frameworks, accounting policies and governance processes • Coordinate internal and external audits; resolve findings • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax and statutory reporting • Review/approve key accounting entries, provisions, accruals and adjustments • Provide accounting guidance for new initiatives, products and investments • Strengthen internal controls; drive automation and process optimisation • Prepare financial analysis and management reports for executives • Lead and develop the Financial Control team • Support CFO on governance, liquidity oversight and finance transformation Requirements: • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related • Professional qualification: ICAN, ACA, ACCA, ANAN or equivalent • 10–13 years in Financial Control, Financial Reporting, Audit or Corporate Finance; at least 3 years leadership • Fintech or Banking preferred • Strong IFRS, internal controls, taxation and regulatory compliance knowledge"
