Job Description

Provide independent assurance over design, implementation and operating effectiveness of product controls across payment, wallet, settlement, switches and related products. Ensure new and existing products deploy with adequate financial, operational, security and regulatory controls. Evaluate product risk exposure and control maturity prior to scale.

Job Responsibility

"Responsibilities: • Maintain Product Audit Universe covering payment products, features and integrations ranked by risk • Own annual Product Audit Plan based on risk, complexity, regulatory sensitivity and change velocity • Review PRDs, business rules and transaction workflows for logic gaps and missing exception handling before go-live • Analyse product path scenarios; verify Maker-Checker; provide formal control design sign-off before material releases • Periodically assess live products for configuration drift and control effectiveness • Safeguard against revenue leakage, settlement failures, regulatory breaches and technology-driven risks Requirements: • Experience in product audit, IT audit, controls assurance or payments risk within fintech/banking • Understanding of payment products, settlement, wallets and switches • Ability to review product design documentation and transaction workflows • Remote, Lagos, Nigeria listing on official Greenhouse"
