Company: MoMo PSB. The role maintains transaction integrity, manages settlement and reconciliation exceptions, oversees disputes and chargebacks, strengthens operational controls, and drives timely resolution of transaction-related issues. Supports the Head, Banking Operations in a resilient, scalable transaction operations environment aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibility

"Responsibilities: • Manage day-to-day transaction processing and monitoring across payment channels to agreed service levels • Oversee settlement and reconciliation with NIBSS, partner banks, switches and payment partners; resolve reconciliation exceptions promptly • Investigate and resolve failed, pending, reversed and irregular transactions including root-cause for recurring issues • Manage disputes, reversals, refunds and chargebacks within regulatory, scheme and internal timelines • Maintain strong operational controls; identify control gaps and financial/operational risk • Ensure compliance with CBN requirements, payment scheme rules and internal policies • Drive continuous improvement and automation of transaction operations • Partner with Technology, Finance, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Fraud and CX • Lead, coach and develop the Transaction Operations team Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Banking, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or related • Postgraduate degree an advantage • Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, ACIB, CISA, CRISC, Six Sigma or PMP) an advantage • 10–13 years in transaction processing, payment operations, banking operations, settlement/reconciliation or digital financial services; at least 3 years leadership/managerial • Fintech or Banking experience preferred • Experience with payment switches, partner banks and payments ecosystem • Understanding of financial services regulatory environment"
