CCTV Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking to hire a vigilant and detail-oriented CCTV Operator to join our security team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and operating closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems to ensure the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel.

• Experience Length : 2 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Monitor CCTV cameras and alarms to detect and respond to security breaches or incidents
• Operate and maintain CCTV equipment, including cameras, monitors, and recording devices
• Identify and report suspicious activity or potential security threats
• Collaborate with security personnel to respond to incidents and prevent crimes
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and security events
• Perform routine checks on CCTV equipment to ensure optimal functionality
   

Requirements:

• Minimum of OND, HND, BSc. in Security Management or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in CCTV operation or security-related field
• Strong attention to detail and ability to focus for extended periods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
• Familiarity with CCTV software and hardware
• Certification in security operations or a related field (e.g., CCTV Operator Certification) is an asset.
