Facility Manager

Full job description

Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of their facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the premises, infrastructure, and support services function optimally and in compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily facility operations, including maintenance, security, cleaning, utilities, and equipment management.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for the building and equipment.
• Supervise contractors, technicians, and facility staff to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
• Ensure the facility complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage facility-related budgets, negotiate contracts, and monitor expenditures.
• Coordinate repairs, renovations, and upgrades as needed.
• Maintain records of equipment servicing, vendor contracts, inspections, and incidents.
• Respond promptly to facility emergencies and coordinate resolution efforts.
• Ensure optimal working conditions to support staff productivity and safety.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure seamless facility operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in facility or building management.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software is an advantage.
