Background: Finance, Accounting, Construction, Real Estate, or Project-Based Sectors

A top leading modular building solutions company, delivering cost-effective, fast-track container-based construction for residential, commercial, and institutional projects is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Finance Analyst to support financial control, project cost management, and reporting processes.

The Finance Analyst will be responsible for tracking project costs, managing financial transactions, negotiating with vendors, and producing management reports. The ideal candidate will combine strong financial analysis skills with practical bookkeeping experience, preferably within a project-based or construction environment.

Responsibilities

Project Cost Tracking & Bookkeeping

· Maintain accurate financial records for all ongoing projects.

· Track project costs against budgets, ensuring alignment with profit targets.

· Work closely with the Projects team to monitor site expenses and update cost reports.

Vendor & Procurement Finance Support

· Review, negotiate, and verify vendor invoices to ensure best-value pricing for materials and services.

· Align vendor payments with approved budgets and project cashflows.

· Maintain records of negotiated rates and payment schedules.

Banking & Daily Transactions

· Manage daily financial transactions including payments, bank reconciliations, and fund transfers.

· Liaise directly with bank relationship managers for smooth operational support and transaction handling.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

· Interpret management accounts and audited financial statements.

· Prepare clear, timely management reports highlighting project profitability, cash flow positions, and financial performance.

· Support budget preparation, financial forecasting, and management decision-making.

Requirements

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within construction, real estate, or project-based sectors.

· Strong bookkeeping and project cost control experience.

· Practical experience in negotiating vendor invoices.

· Solid experience handling daily banking transactions and liaising with bank managers.

· Ability to interpret financial statements and generate actionable management reports.

· Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.

· A professional finance/accounting qualification (or ongoing certification such as ICAN,

· ACCA) is an added advantage.
