A&R Manager

Santabella Music Empire is currently seeking a qualified A&R Manager to join our team. As the A&R Manager, you will work closely with the Head of the department to drive the creative vision and strategic direction of our music label. We are looking for an intelligent, proactive, and organized individual with a strong passion for discovering and nurturing musical talent.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Head of the department to establish and execute strategic goals and targets for the A&R department.
• Scout for new talent and creatives, implementing innovative strategies to discover emerging artists and songwriters.
• Manage the creative development of our artists and writers, contributing to the release schedule and facilitating strategic collaborations.
• Oversee remix opportunities, managing incoming requests and proactively seeking out new remix partnerships.
• Stay informed about industry trends, monitoring playlists, streaming platforms, and industry news to identify new talent and collaborative opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with artists, songwriters, publishers, labels, and other industry professionals.
• Coordinate album recording sessions and attend shows and showcases to support both signed and unsigned artists.
• Prepare written correspondence, communicate internally and with third parties, and maintain relationship databases.
• Provide monthly reports on department activities and achievements.

Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years of creative experience in the music industry.
• Strong understanding of recording, production, and the creative aspects of the music business.
• Knowledge of key industry players and familiarity with various music genres.
• Excellent ear for music and a passion for discovering new talent.
• Strong networking skills and an existing network of industry professionals and artists.
• Proactive and diligent approach to work, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Global mindset and approach towards work and projects.
